 Uttarkashi Tunnel rescue 2023-

There is under construction tunnel has collapsed in Uttaranchal India. This incident has been occurred date 12 November 2023 and time 4:30 IST.

There are 41 workers trapped inside the tunnel.

 

 

About Tunnel-

 

The Name of tunnel is Silkyara. This tunnel is situated between Silkyara and Dandalgaon on the Brahmakhal Yamunotri national highway Uttarkashi district Uttaranchal India.

  

The tunnel is construction by Navayuga Engineering Construction Limited (NECL).

 

Importance-

This tunnel is part of Char Dham all weather project. This tunnel make short route Yamunotri Dham about 20 kilometers. The length of tunnel is 4.5 Kilometer

Rescue operations-

The Rescue operations started on war level.

 

 

(1) Three pipes were drilled during the operation,

1 pipe providing oxygen,

1 pipe passage for dry food, meal.

1 pipe insertion of an endoscopic camera.

 

 

(2) There is specially Auger machine use in this rescue operation.

(3)Government asked help from international experts of  USA and Europe.

 

(4) There multiple teams day night worked for rescue the workers.

(5) After 17 days yesterday 28 November all workers have successful recues from tunnel

 

  

 After rescue all workers are under medical observation fro 48 hours after it they will send there home.
