There are seven type of software development models-

 

(1) Water fall model

It is the most popular model of software development among the software engineering. The almost software engineer use this model for development of new software.

(2) Spiral model

The spiral model is based on risk analysis

(3) V model

This model is extending of water fall model

In this each step of software developer check and after complete previous step than enter in next step

 

(4) Prototyping model

In this software engineer make prototype of software according to requirement of customer. When prototype accept they work on it.

 

(5) Incremental model

 

This model is almost same from waterfall model

There only difference that each step complete in form of circle.

 

(6) Interactive model-

 

In this task divide into small module after it start development.

 

(7) Agile methods

The task divide into small part and then development.
