First Generation-

 

This is Machine Language and there are two digits 0 and 1 use in it.

Difficult to writing.

Very difficult to understand.

 

 

 

(2)Second Generation-

 

It is Assembly language.

It is low level Language.

It better than 1^st generation language.

It uses label, symbol and register.

 

Third Generation-

  

It is high level language.

Procedural language.

It is user friendly.

There some of object oriented program language for example Perl, COBOL, PASCAL, C, C++, PHP, Fortran

 

Fourth Generation-

 

It is high level language.

It is user friendly.

Application language.

It support GUI development.

It can easily link from database.

Visual Basic, SQL, ORCAL, UNIX

 

Fifth Generation-

 

It is high level language.

It is use in artificial intelligence.
