Tourist place near Baba Kedarnath temple-

(1) Gaurikund-Gaurikund is the base camp for the trek to Kedarnath. It is believed to be the place where Goddess Parvati meditated to win Lord Shiva's heart. The site has a hot water spring and the Gauri Temple, dedicated to Parvati.

(2) Rudraprayag-Around 75 kilometers from Kedarnath, Rudraprayag is situated at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers.

(3) Sonprayag-The Sonprayag is a small town around 20 kilometers from Kedarnath. The two rivers Mandakini and Songanga meet on this place.

(9) Deoria Tal-It is located near Ukhimath, around 68 kilometers from Kedarnath, Deoria Tal lake is a beautiful lake surrounded by dense forests.

(10) Chopta-It is one of the most beautiful town in India. The Chopta is around 63 kilometers from Kedarnath.

It is the starting point for the trek to Tungnath Temple, which is the highest Shiva temple in the world, and further to Chandrashila peak, offering panoramic views of the Himalayas.
