Tourist place near Yamunotri dham-
There are some famous place near Yamunotri dham-
(1) Surya Kund- This
is hot spring is located near the Yamunotri Temple and is famous for its
boiling water. Pilgrims cook rice into the hot water, which they then take home
as prasad.
(2) Divya Shila-It rock pillar located in side of
Yamunotri Temple, where pilgrims pray
before entering the temple.
(3) Janki Chatti- Situated around 5 kilometers from Yamunotri,
There is hot springs
(4) Hanuman Chatti-This place you can see beautiful
nature view.
(5) Kharsali- This is small village which is famous for thermal springs, ancient temples, and beautiful forests near Janki Chatti.
In winter season Goddess Yamunotri worship in this place.
(6)Barkot- This is 50 Kilometer far from Yamunotri
temple you can see panoramic views of the Bandarpoonch peak and other Himalayan
ranges.
(7) Harsil- It is small town which famous for Bhagirathi
River natural seen, and trekking.
(8) Saptrishi Kund- It is original source of the
Yamuna River.
You must trek
to Saptrishi Kund
(9) Dodital Lake- It is very good place for trekking and camping.
