What is different between compiler and

interpreter

 

 Interpreter

Compiler- It is software which convert high level language into machine language.

 

Interpreter-It is software which convert source code into machine code.

 

 

What is different between compiler and interpreter-

(1) Compiler convert entire program at a time while Interpreter  convert program line by line while 

 

 

(2) Compiler never generate object code while Interpreter generate object code.  

 

(3) Compiler is faster than while Interpreter is slow. 

 

(4) Compiler display error after compile entire program while interpreter display error after every line.

 

(5) Compiler take less time while interpreter take much time.

 

 

(6) Compiler example is C, C++ and Interpreter example is PHP.
