The drone is unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), It can is remotely operated aircraft or flying machine that does not require a human pilot onboard to navigate.

Drones use sensors and GPS systems for flying. There is various types of shapes and sizes, drone which are depend on the task.

 

The drone can fit in the palm of our hand to larger fixed-wing aircraft used which use for surveillance or cargo delivery.

 

(1) Quadcopters

 Quadcopters are the most common type of consumer drones, characterized by four rotors arranged in a square configuration.

They are versatile and maneuverable, making them suitable for tasks like aerial photography, recreational flying, and short-distance surveillance.

 

(2) Fixed-Wing Drones

Fixed-wing drones resemble like traditional airplanes.

It has h wings and a single propeller or jet engine for propulsion.

This kind of drones us for long distance mapping, surveying.

 

(3) Multirotor

It is like quadcopter but it is more advance than quadcopters   four rotors, typically six or eight.

 

This kind of drone for industrial inspections, and search and rescue operations.

 

(4) Single-Rotor Helicopters

 

This is like a Helicopter and use for vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL).

It is use for filming, crop spraying, and utility work in remote or inaccessible areas.

 

(5) Hybrid VTOL Drones

This kind of drone is combination of both Hybrid VTOL (Vertical Takeoff and Landing) drones and fixed-wing and multirotor aircraft

It use for long-range capability.

 

(6) Nano Drones

This kind of drone is very tiny and use in indoor

They are often used educational purposes.

 

 

Applications-

The Drone are use for following fields

 

(1) Study

(2) Research

(3) Space 

(4) Weather forecasting 

(5) Photography

(6) Videography

(7) Agricultural monitoring,

(8) Disaster response,

 

Conclusion- The Drone is one of best remote operated device which can help in various fields like study, research agriculture, and space and weather forecasting etc.
