The Navratri is the word which made by the two word one is Nav which mean nine and second is Ratri which mean night. Because the festival is run 9 days so this is called Navratri.

This festival is also known as Durga Puja.

 Goddess Durga

This festival is dedicated to worship of Goddess Durga. Goddess Durga is the wife of Lord Shiva. The Lord Shiva is the biggest God in Hindu religion.

There thousands of name of Goddess Durga like Vashnavi, Jagadamba, Chandi, Chahunda, Bhavani, Mahishasurmardani, Kali, etc.

15 October to 24 October 2023

Every day of Navratri different form of goddess Durga worships.

 

Goddess Durga has red color dress and Trishul is favorites weapon and her lion or tiger is her vechile.

(7)Kalaratri

(8)Mahagauri

All 9 form of  Durga have different, cloth, weapons and vechile.
