Happy Ganesh Chaturthi-Today is Ganesh Chaturthi festival. This day Lord Ganesh born so this day name celebrate as Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

 

Every beginning of new work like study, Job, business, wedding and all type of holy work first lord Ganesh worship and get blessing of him. So every work successful complete.

 The entire country and celebrate this day. It is one of the most popular festival in India.

 

Name-The lord Ganesh has so many popular name like Ganesh, Pratham Pujya, Gajanand, Gouriputra, Lambodar, Vinayak, Ekdant, Modakpriya and Vakratund etc.

 

Lord Ganesh is lord of happiness, knowledge, intelligence, prosperity, obstacle remover.

 

Birth- Lord Ganesh born Chaturthi of Bhadrapada.

The Chaturthi mean four and Bhadrapada is month of Hindu calendar

 

 

Body- Lord Ganesh has head of Elephant and rest of body like human. Lord Ganesh has four hand.

 

Story- Once a time Goddess Parvati who is mother of Ganesh was taking bath and she ordered to Lord Ganesh no body came inside home. After sometime lord Shiv came and want to go inside home but Load Ganesh not gave permission him. Lord shiv became angry and he cut head of Lord Ganesh and Ganesh killed.

When came after taking bath and she knew every this about this incident she became very angry. So lord Shiv cut elephant head and mount on body lord Ganesh and he became alive again. So Lord Ganesh has head of elephant.

Mother Goddess Parvati, father Lord Shiv

Brother- Kartika

Sister- three sister Ashok Sundri, Mansa.

Wife-two wives Ridhi and Sidhi.

Sons-Two sons Subh and Labh.

Daughter-one daughter Santoshi.

 

Favorite-

The Lord has favorite Modek, red rose flower, and banana durva.

Modek- It is kind of sweet which made by flour of gram.

Durva- The durva mean green grass.

Red rose- Flower

Banana-  fruit.

 

The Modek and durva is the most favorite of Lord Ganesh without Modek and durva worship of Lord Ganesh is incomplete.

Weapon-  Lord Ganesh has a weapon which name is Parsa which mean axe.

 

Vechile- Lord Ganesh has vechile Mushak. The Mushak mean mouse.

Worship-There are so many type worship of Lord Ganesh.

 

Idol of Lord Ganesh- There so many type and size idol of Lord Ganesh available in market like sand, stone, brace, bronze, silver, gold.

 

Day- The Wednesday is the most favorite day for worship of Lord Ganesh.

 

Ganesh Chaturthi festival celebrate 10 days. First day Ganesh Chaturthi people bring idol of Lord Ganesh after till 10 days people, pray lord Ganesh with special sweet flower, Modek and fruits offer to Lord Ganesh at home and worship till 10 days.

The temple of decorate home and temple by lights, and flowers. Everyone has lost craze about this day specially in children. There so many function organize of Lord Ganesh in India.

 

Last day is called Anant Chaturdashi.

 

This is very big festival this day celebrate this and people who bring idol of Lord Ganesh flow in river or sea with this pray

 

“Ganpati bappa moriya agle baras tu jaldi aa”

Which mean Lord Ganesh Come soon next year at their home.
